Flow Wrapping

Flow wrapping is the process of automated film packaging for both individual and bulk products. This method is often used in the food and beverage industry, as well as for cosmetics and printed product industries. The materials used in flow wrapping typically depend on the product type, varying between industries and needs.

Cavanna Packaging Group is the world leader in providing integrated solutions for food and non-food packaging, with their innovative "flowpack" technology. They offer complete flowpack packaging solutions, suitable for all product types/sizes and line configurations, including:

  • Primary packaging
  • Secondary packaging
  • End-of-line packaging

What is "flowpack?"

Flowpack allows manufacturers to use smaller quantities of material during flow wrapping, compared to other types of packaging. Flowpack technologies come at a significantly lower cost than other packing types, and are equipped with simplified, easy-to-operate configurations. Flowpack guarantees product shelf life for as long as six months post-packaging.
